Do I need to open an account or register first?
When you first make a purchase at the Saddleback Educational eStore you must
create your own account on our system. Once you have created an account with us you may use this account
every time you
make purchases at our eStore. One of the biggest benefits
of having a permanent account with us is that you will only have
to give your personal information once making this option even more
secure.
After you have created your account with the Saddleback Educational eStore, you can access and make changes to it at
any time.
Please note that there are no fees or charges of any kind for
opening or having an account with us for use at the Saddleback
Educational eStore.
What's a shopping cart?
When making purchases at the Saddleback Educational eStore you use a virtual
shopping cart just as you would use a shopping cart at a grocery
store. As you shop for a product or products you can choose items
by adding them to your virtual shopping cart. To add an item to
your shopping cart simply click on the "Add To Shopping Cart"
button. Placing an item in your shopping cart doesn't mean
that you have to buy it, but it is a simple way for you to keep
track of the products you have chosen. Another advantage of using
the shopping cart is that you can take a look at everything in
your cart by simply clicking on the "View Shopping Cart" button.
Please note that when you add first add an item to your cart,
our system will ask you to identify yourself with your user
name and password. This will ensure that you
have an account with the Saddleback Educational eStore. If you do not have
an account, you will be required to open one before being permitted to
add any items to your shopping cart.
What do I do when I've found something I want?
Once you have found a product you wish to purchase simply
click on the "Add To Shopping Cart" button. This
places the item into your shopping cart. Placing an item in your
shopping cart doesn't mean that you have to buy it, but it is
a simple way for you to keep track of the products you have chosen.
How do I remove an item from my shopping cart?
If you change your mind about an item in your shopping cart
and you wish to remove it, click on "View Shopping Cart".
At the Cart Contents window click on the "Drop Item" button
beside the item. Next click on the "Update Cart" button to remove the item from your shopping cart.
Can I view all of the items in my shopping cart?
You can take a look at all of the items in your shopping cart
by simply clicking on "View Shopping Cart". This
will list all of the products you have placed in your shopping
cart.
What do I do when I have completed my choices?
When you are finished making your purchase choices at our site,
click on "View Shopping Cart". Once at the "Cart Contents" screen, click on "Proceed to Checkout". At our secure checkout screen, you will be asked to enter your credit card information. Once this has been entered, click on "Complete Transaction".
How do I download my books/purchases?
You are now ready to download your purchases. After you have
clicked on the "Complete Transaction" button the "Smart Receipt"
window will appear. It is a good idea to print the "Smart
Receipt" for your records. To download your purchase(s) simply
click on "Download Item Now" link beside the title of each item on your Smart Receipt. Your purchase will then be downloaded onto your computer.
Once you have completed your purchase you will also receive
purchase confirmation via email from the Saddleback Educational eStore. The email
you receive will give you a web site address to access for downloading
your purchase if you wish to download at a later time. You will
have seven days to complete your downloads.
How do I confirm my order?
After your payment has been processed through the banking system,
a "Smart Receipt" pop-up window will be displayed on
your screen. This window will confirm that we have received your
order and let you know that you can begin downloading the material
you ordered.
What if I have problems or get error messages when ordering?
At Saddleback Educational eStore we have tried to keep the online ordering
process as simple as possible. However, if you do encounter difficulty
ordering, review the overview below for some helpful hints.
- Review your order by checking what you have in your shopping
cart.
- Enter your credit card and billing information.
- Check out and finalize your order. Make any changes that are
necessary. At this point you can also check which items you have
ordered, the quantity, as well as the cost of each item, and the
total cost of your order.
- After you have finalized your order simply click on the "Complete Transaction" button.
- After you have submitted your order we will confirm your order
in the form of a pop-up screen called a "Smart Receipt".
You will then be ready to download your purchase immediately following
your order. You will also receive an e-mail message from Saddleback
Educational eStore confirming your order and giving you a web site address
to access for downloading your purchase for up to seven days.
